OnlineInstaller stalling at 67% (Prepare application files)

Hi,
I'm installing webEdition on a CentOS VPS and when using the OnlineInstaller (version 2504) the installation stalls at 67% when the script is on "Prepare application files". If I upload the files manually I can install webEdition but would obviously like to use the OnlineInstaller. I have a identical CentOS VPS running on the same network without the problem?
Is this a permissions issue?
