Hi,

I would like to know what is the use of the "Link to the corresponding documents/objects in other languages" field.
Is the link submitted in this field can be used to generate menus and if yes, how to proceed.

I understand the reason of the existence of this field, but I can not find any link to its practical application .

Thank you in advance for any help and any piece of information.

Hi Jacob,

It's intended for multi-language sites with direct links between pages (e.g. Contact <=> Kontakt, Products <=> Produkte, etc.). It allows users (and editors) to navigate to the corresponding document in another language.

If you are planning to implement such a site, you might want to have a look a the following tags:

• <we:listview type="languagelink">
• <we:objectLanguage />
• <we:pageLanguage />
