Any chanche that backup.php wil be upgraded so it will work for webEdition 4 and 5 too?

Hi Taco,
Unfortunately a backup from an higher version is not compatible with a lower version. In some cases it can work but there is no guaranty.
I was able to recover a backup with the ending .php in webEdition Version 4. When all the new features of version 5 are not used then it maybe will work.
Sadly it also can't be upgraded.
