we:category rootdir?

Hi,
I would like to display a single category from a document which has multiple categories. I assume I can use the rootdir attribute to refine the results however the code below always returns multiple categories?
Categoaries:
/shop/brand/m/my company
/shop/colour/blue
/shop/size/small
Can I use the category tag to only display "my company" from within the category "/shop/brand"?
